The bed was incredibly comfortable and our room was clean / tidy. The property and views were amazing. The breakfast was delicious. And last but not least, the hosts (including the resident dog), were really accommodating.

Wonderful B&B     Rosie, de,    Nov 29 2019
We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. We had very nice conversations, the room has an awesome view at Mt. Ruapehu. The breakfast was great. Selfmade yogurt, cereals, selfmade marmalade, honey etc. It was very tidy. We did the Tongariro Alpine Crossing - it was easy to organize a shuttle (coming from Ohakune) to get picked up from our B&B. This place is highly recommended to everybody.
There was nothing which we didn't like.

Such a wonderful house! You can see the mountains in the daytime and stargaze at night just in the house! Julie and her husband prepared a very gorgeous breakfast for us, making us more energetic when hiking. I love them, the warm old couple, tidy and comfortable rooms and everything there, unforgettable and enjoyable! Highly recommend!(Ps, convenient to the mountains. They gave me important advice for hiking. We finished the Upper Tama Lake and visited the two lakes there. 6 hours, 17km, so cool. We will be there again in the future. Cheers

My partner and I stayed for three nights and the hospitality was perfect. The breakfast every morning was a really special start to the day. Julie and Wayne are so knowledgeable about passionate about the local area and had the best suggestions for activities and places to eat and things to see. We loved sitting and chatting and getting to know them. The room was spotless and so was the bathroom, the bed was super comfy and warm! And our snow gear was able to be dried easily after our days on the mountain with the drying facilities. We really can’t fault it at all, everything was so perfect and we are so grateful!

Amazing views, great hosts and dream B&B. We couldn’t recommend it enough! Stay here!!
Staying with Julie and Wayne was the highlight of our trip through New Zealand. I was traveling with my partner and a friend and they made us feel at home. The house is stunning with incredible views of the mountains. The beds are super comfy. Julie gives you the best tips and she recommended that we go on a walk through a forest with ancient tress that it was out of a movie (the Mangawhero trek - a must do!). We felt as if we were in the Middle Earth. She also recommended great places to eat in town.
They prepared the breakfast the next morning and it’s out of this world. You are seated with the mountain as your backdrop and the most incredible breakfast is served to you. Home made cereals, home made yogurts, homemade jams and the most delicious poached eggs with bacon prepared a la minute by chef Wayne. They were a delight to talk to. We learned so much about New Zealand. We didn’t want to leave. It was just everything we thought it would be and more.
We couldn’t recommend it high enough!
